BWRT® Level 2 - Psychology of Identity and Behaviour

BWRT® Level 2 – Psychology of Identity and Behaviour

Brain Working Recursive Therapy® Level 2 – Psychology of Identity and Behaviour. Level 2 deals with issues that you feel are internal to you, they feel PART of your identity, and just the way you are. You do not feel able to control these issues as they are so much PART of who you think you are.

BWRT® Level 2 builds on level 1 adding in the more complex dynamic of how we identify with who we are. Level 2 works deeply and effectively with how we see ourselves and who we identify ourselves to be. If you don’t like who you identify as then this work is for you.

You and your Identity

When thinking about who you are and how you see yourself, you might be comfortable with that and like who you see, but you might not? Our identity is formed deep within us, starting very early in our childhood development and consolidating over time. Our identity can be seen as the labels that we apply to ourselves and they have been with us for so long we can’t imagine ourselves without them, they become core to us. This is how our psyche is meant to form it is only a problem if the sense of self is negative or we do not in some way feel that we are ok.

Traditional therapy works at you understanding and controlling the behaviours of a negative self-identity. Whilst BWRT® level 2 works at resolving the old negative sense of self that is causing the issues, so they just don’t exist anymore. It is no longer a part of you.

Steps On Pathway

Level 2 BWRT® is based on 4 distinct phases of work which unfolds over a minimum of 4 weekly sessions.

We begin with a double session of 2 hours for a full assessment that forms the foundations for the work required. This creates the map, compass and structure you will need to lead you through the transformation you wish to achieve. We can then assess how many sessions are required and if there are any emotions that are causing you problems that will need Level 1 General Psychopathology way of working. There will also be work to complete at home in between some of the sessions. The following stages last for one and a half hours each unlocking the old identity and then doing a total Reboot with a completion stage.

This is the beginning of anything you want

If you relate with this level of work and feel this would be beneficial to you then please feel free to contact me to speak further.
